The Reveal

The new home kit was unveiled on June 23, 2025, at an event at McDiarmid Park, with the away strip receiving its reveal on July 3, 2025.

Macron: Creating and Crafting
Ever wondered what goes into creating a football shirt that blends performance with Scottish passion? The sportswear manufacturer Macron doesn't just make football jerseys; they bring statements to life, combining modern sports clothing advancements with a deep respect for each club's identity. St. Johnstone is no different.

Crystal Palace, Bologna, Sampdoria, Auxerre, and many more football clubs rely on Macron to supply quality kits that assist their footballers of all genders in performing at their absolute best. This season, the Saints will be wearing smart new Macron kits sponsored by MandM, and we’re super excited by it.

Collaboration
When collaborating on a new St. Johnstone shirt design, Macron worked closely with the football club, pulling inspiration from the team's history, club values and also fan base to truly craft a unique design. For the home kit, the in-house graphic designers at Macron ensured an intricate granite pattern ran throughout the design, with the new club crest perfectly translated from vision to fabric. This is good news for us at MandM as our logo also gets this considerate treatment. This season's away strip loosely draws from the 2017/18 away design and incorporates tartan in a kit for the first time since the 15/16 season.

Performance
Beyond aesthetics, performance is paramount. Macron meticulously researches and develops advanced technical fabrics. Think high-density, moisture-wicking polyester, engineered to pull sweat away from the skin, keeping players cool and dry. They even incorporate elastane for crucial stretch and recovery, ensuring the shirt moves seamlessly, matching the contours of the footballer's body.

From initial concept and virtual 3D prototyping to rigorous fitting tests and meticulous quality control, every Macron shirt is a testament to Italian craftsmanship and a forward-thinking approach, delivering not just a kit, but a small piece of the club to the supporters.

But what makes the new St. Johnstone kits so good? Antonio Dalle Fabbriche, Head of Quality Control at Macron, shared: “We monitor production and international system and product certifications that enhance our offering. But it goes beyond that—research and development are at the core of every project, because innovation and performance are the true protagonists.”
